What is Content ID?
YouTube's system for finding copyrighted content. It scans uploads against a database of audio and video submitted by rights holders and applies a claim when it finds a match.
What can happen to a matched video?
Depending on the policy you choose, it can be monetised with ads so the revenue comes to you, blocked from being watched, or left up so you can track its viewing statistics.
